 UPGRADE FAQs
1.  What is a cell phone upgrade?  Replace your current phone with a brand new cell phone for free or at a substantial discount when you extend your contract with your existing wireless carrier.  It is beneficial to upgrade as you keep your existing service...renew it and save...and get a NEW phone in the process!

2.  Am I eligible for a cell phone upgrade?  Not all existing customers qualify for contract extensions with their respective carriers.  Each wireless carrier sets specific threshold rules as to who is eligible for a contract extension.  A good rule of thumb is as follows:

  • You must be at least 11 months into your 1 year contract, or 22 months into your 2-year contract
  • Your account must be in good financial standing and without late fees
  • You agree to extend your contract 24 months from the end of your existing contract
  • If you extend your contract length on a family plan for a single phone, all lines of service will be extended to the new contract end date of the upgraded phone line

Note that eligibility results may vary based on a variety of conditions including, but not limited to a customer's usage history, payment record, previous phone replacement, etc. Upgrade eligibility is determined by each individual carrier at their discretion. Account approval will vary. However, eligibility requirements on cell phone upgrades vary depending on the wireless carrier offering the upgrade. We currently offers unbeatable upgrade deals for existing Sprint,, Nextel, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless customers.

3.  Which phones are available for upgrades?  AnyT-Mobile, Sprint, Nextel, or Verizon Wireless cell phone available to new customers is also available at discount pricing to eligible upgrade customers. That's right: upgrade to any phone!

4.

5.  I received my new upgrade phone, but it isn't activated yet?  Your phone was sent to you not activated to prevent any interruption in your service. Please check your shipment materials for instructions on activating your new phone and completing your upgrade.

6.  Why wasn't I eligible to upgrade? The eligibility status we relay to you is provided to us by the carrier. If we inform you that you are ineligible for an upgrade or contract extension but the carrier says that you are eligible, please let us know so we can work on your behalf to resolve any discrepancy. Although rare, your wireless carrier may offer programs that we do not offer so we cannot resolve all situations.

NUMBER PORTING (TRANSFER MY EXISTING NUMBER TO MY NEW PHONE) FAQs

1. What is Wireless Local Number Portability (WLNP)? Wireless Local Number Portability is simply the process of transferring your existing number from your current wireless carrier to your new wireless carrier.

2. What Is the difference between porting a number and an upgrade/contract extension? If you are extending your contract or upgrading your phone with your existing carrier, we are simply changing the phone model on your account and extending your contract term. A number port is physically moving your number from one carrier to another.

3. How long does it take to transfer my number? The time it takes to transfer your number from one wireless carrier to another varies. Normally this is completed in a few days.

What should I tell my current service provider? Please do not contact your existing wireless carrier until your new phone is working properly. Once your new phone is working, please call your old wireless carrier to ensure your old account is deactivated.

5. Do I have to buy a new phone to port my number? Wireless carriers use different technology and the phones are wired for that specific technology. If you are changing wireless carriers, you will need to get a phone that is programmed to work on their network.

6. How does my number transfer to my new carrier? First, we need to know that you want to switch your existing mobile number when you place your order. It is important that you check the box "Yes, I Want to Switch My Existing Number" and enter the information exactly as it appears on your current wireless bill because that is what the carriers use to communicate with one another and coordinate the transfer or number port. We then notify your new carrier who handles the actual transfer of your number.

7. Can I always transfer my existing number to my new carrier? Generally, yes. In very rare instances, a carrier may not allow a number to be transferred to another carrier. If this happens, you should contact your existing carrier for an explanation. Sometimes it is a simple misunderstanding that can be resolved with a phone call.

8. When does my number transfer to my new phone? The time for the transfer will vary depending on the new carrier. Normally, we try to coordinate the transfer so that it will happen within 48 hours after you receive your phone. For some carriers, you will be able to complete the transfer of your phone number within minutes after receiving your phone, by following the easy instructions included in your shipment. As always, if there is a problem, please call us at the phone number located on your sales receipt.

9. My new phone doesn't work with my old number: Please check your fulfillment kit for instructions on how to complete your number transfer. If you are still having trouble, please call the Customer Service number located on your sales receipt. Please do not call or visit the carrier unless we direct you to them.

10. Will my old wireless account automatically be cancelled? Once you have verified that your new phone is working properly, please contact your old carrier to ensure that your old account is deactivated.
